Dr H Van’t Hoff, male

Hugh grew up in Stoke on Trent and is of Dutch and English descent. He qualified as a GP in London and then moved to Bristol to complete his training. Desiring an escape from the city, he moved to Gloucestershire in 2002.
Hugh has interests in mental health, neurology and learning disabilities. When not working at Regent Street he leads the Facts 4 Life project which aims to bring ideas about illness / wellness into schools. He also sits on the Living Well committee. Hugh has 3 children and in his spare time he enjoys painting and photography.
Dr S Wood , female
MBChB, MRCGP, DCH, DFFP
Sara is originally from Nailsworth but grew up in mainland Europe. Having qualified in Sheffield in 2002 she worked in hospitals in South Yorkshire and Oxfordshire.
She completed her training as a GP in 2007 in Oxford and moved back to Gloucestershire in 2010. She has interests in paediatric medicine, women’s health and family planning. Sara can fit intra-uterine (coils) and the contraceptive implant. Sara enjoys knitting and crochet and is a keen reader. She is married and has two young sons.
Dr V Mason, female
MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH
Vashti is originally from Cheltenham and having qualified in 2008, moved back to the local area to finish her training at Cheltenham General and Gloucester Royal Hospitals. She has interests in dermatology / minor surgery, women’s health and elderly care. Vashti is married with two young sons to keep her busy and in her free times she enjoys running and cooking.
Dr V Blackburn, female
Dr Blackburn is our senior partner and an experienced GP. She is the Safeguarding Lead for the practice.
Dr Sana Shaikh, female
Sana went to medical school in London and then completed her GP training in the South West. She has an interest in women’s health. She lives locally with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys reading and yoga. Sana does a regular improved access session for Regent Street on a Monday afternoon from 3pm to 8pm.
Dr Rachel Underhill, female
Dr Underhill joined the practice in 2023, having previously completed her GP training with us.
Dr Rukmal Gomes, Male
Dr Gomes is an experienced GP. He is our Care Homes lead.
